समूह 'क' (Group 'A') [15x1=15]
१. तलका प्रश्नहरुको छोटो उत्तर दिनुहोस्।
Write short answer of the following questions. 
a. गुरुत्वाकर्षण स्थिर अङ्क (G) को मान कति हुन्छ? (What is the value of universal gravitational constant (G)?
b. पास्कलको नियम लेख्नुहोस्। (State Pascal's Law.)
c. नवीकरणीय उर्जाको परिभाषा दिनुहोस्। (Define renewable source of energy.)
d. ताप समीकरण भनेको के हो? (What is heat equation?)
e. नाइक्रोम तार कुन-कुन धातुको मिश्रण बाट बनाइन्छ? (Which metals are used to make nichrome wire?)
f. P-block इलेमेन्ट भनेको के हो? (What is P-block element?)
g. रासायनिक प्रतिक्रियामा प्रभाव पार्ने कुनै दुई कारक तत्वहरुको नाम लेख्नुहोस्। (Write any two factors that affect the chemical reactions.)
h. IUPAC को पूरा रुप लेख्नुहोस्। (Write the full form of IUPAC?)
i. Saponification भनेको के हो? (What is saponification?)
j. पिट्युटरी ग्रन्थिले उत्पादन गर्ने दुईवोटा हर्मोनको नाम लेख्नुहोस्। (Write two names of harmones produced by pituitary gland.)
k. पुरुष र महिलामा पाइने सेक्स क्रोमोजोम के-के हुन्? (What sex chromosomes are found in male and female?)
l. Binary fission भनेको के हो? (What is binary fission?)
m. DNA को पूरा रुप लेख्नुहोस्। (Write the full form of DNA)
n. ओजोन वायुमण्डलको कुन तहमा पाइन्छ? (In which layer of atmosphere ozone layer is found?)
o. डाइनोसरको प्रभुत्व र विनाश कुन era मा भएको हो? (In which era Dinosaurs dominant and extinction?)
समूह 'ख' (Group 'B') [13x2=26]

२. पहाडमा भन्दा तराईमा गुरुत्वप्रवेग 'g' को मान बढी हुन्छ, किन? (Why is the value of 'g' more in Terai than in the mountain?

३. तरल पदार्थको घनत्व र यसले दिने उर्ध्वचाप बीच के सम्बन्ध छ? स्पष्ट पार्नुहोस्। (What is the relationship between the density of a liquid and its upthrust?)

४. नेपाल सरकारले किसानलाई बायोग्यास प्लान्ट स्थापनाका लागि प्रोत्साहन गर्नुका दुई कारण लेख्नुहोस्। (Write two reasons to encourage the farmers by Government of Nepal to establish biogas plant.)

५. खाने तेल र पानीलाई दुई भिन्न विकरहरुमा बराबर मात्रामा राखी बराबर ताप दिँदा कुन पदार्थ चाँडो तातिन्छ र किन? (If equal quantity of vegetable oil and water in two different beakers are heated with equal heat, which will increase faster and why?)

६. नाइट्रोजनभन्दा क्लोरीन बढी क्रियाशील हुन्छ, किन? (Chlorine is more reactive than Nitrogen, why?)

७. प्रकाशद्वारा विच्छेदन हुने रासायनिक प्रतिक्रिया लेख्नुहोस्। (Write a decomposition chemical reaction caused by light?)

८. ग्लिसेरोलको संरचनात्मक सूत्र लेखी इथाइल अल्कोहलको कुनै एक उपयोगिता लेख्नुहोस्। (Write the structural formula of glycerol and write any one use of ethyl alcohol.)

९. 'साबुन भन्दा डिटरजेन्ट बढी उपयोगी छ' दुई बुँदामा यसको पक्षमा लेख्नुहोस्। (Define with two points that 'detergent is more useful than soap'.)

१०. प्याङ्क्रियाजलाई मिश्रित ग्रन्थी पनि भानिन्छ, किन? (Pancreas is called mixed gland, why?)
११. भाले ग्यामेट र पोथी ग्यामेटबीच कुनै दुई भिन्नता लेख्नुहोस्। (Write any two differences between male gamete and female gamete.)

१२. मेण्डलले आफ्नो प्रयोग केराउको बोटमा नगरेर मानिसमा गरेको भए उनले के-कस्ता समस्या भोग्नु पर्थ्यो होला? कुनै दुई ओटा समस्याहरु लेख्नुहोस्। (State any two difficulties Mendel would have faced if he had carried his experiment on human instead of pea plant.)

१३. माटो प्रदूषणका कुनै दुई कारणहरु लेख्नुहोस्। (Write any two causes of soil pollution.)

१४. कृतिम उपग्रह प्रक्षेपण गर्नुका कुनै दुई उद्देश्यहरु लेख्नुहोस्। (Write any two objectives of launching artificial satellites.)
